When it first invited online applications (in Nov/Dec 2023) for 2024 admissions, Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD) Jaipur (Rajasthan) announced conduct of the 2024 entrance test ONLINE but had not announced the modalities thereof. It has now reopened the application process and following has been announced about the mode of examination.

Mode of entrance test & interview

a) Admit Card cum question paper will be available for download on or after 30/05/2024, (Thursday).

b) According to the question paper, responses must be submitted on or before the given time period in the question paper. For any clarification, candidates may whatsapp at 9460673297.

c) Personal interview (approx. 20 minutes) will be conducted via whatsapp. Exact date and time will be communicated on the registered email id of the applicants. Applicant will get a call from the IICD examiner team on the given time on her/his registered whatsapp number. During the interview applicant must keep the submitted art work / portfolio with them.

Applications will now close on 28 May 2024.

Course offered by IICD: 4-Year (8 semesters) B.Design with following specialization options:

(a) Soft Material Design

(b) Hard Material Design

(c) Fired Material Design

(d) Fashion Clothing Design
(e) Jewellery Design

(f) Crafts Communication

Selection Process

Entrance Tests (Part A & B) followed by a Personal Interview.
